The World Without.....

Day 28 April P-A-D prompt from Poetic Asides:  "The world without something"  My response for today is a few senyrus.

The world without you

would have no meaning for me

my beautiful sons

**********

Without tornadoes

Alabama would not know

such devastation

our hearts and our minds

stop mundane meanderings

to send prayers of hope

**********

This world without love

would be a nightmare beyond

imagination

  1. All good, but the first one tops the bill. I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

  3. Stan, thank you. I really can't imagine a world without them...they bring such joy into mine. :)

Pamela, thank you...that's really what life is to me.

  4. All of them are thoughtful and immediate. Love the first one though, close to heart.

  9. Gloria, Hi I just had to comment here. Your first poem is very beautiful, as a Mom I know what it means.
The second grabbed my attention, these storms are terrible, and I'm glad you didn't take a "silver lining" approach. These is no way to make a positive spin from the destructiveness of these storms is there?

Although like all disasters, we humans find our ability to bounce back and rebuild.

Your third poem is very true.
